Artist's Note:

I wanted this painting to feel like a memory of leaning close to the glass on a rainy day, wiping a small patch clear just to see what waited on the other side. The warmth of the light seemed to spill through, softening the edges of everything it touched. It’s that kind of moment where you find yourself drawn closer, almost able to reach the scene beyond, yet still separated by the pane between you. This piece is a companion to Far Enough to See, created from the same setting but with a different perspective.
