Artist's Note: I painted this piece at that fleeting moment when the day begins to fade but night hasn’t fully arrived. I wanted to capture the way raindrops turn the ordinary sight of headlights and street lamps into something dreamlike, soft and full of movement. Passing Lights is my way of holding onto that in-between feeling, when everything feels like it's slipping quietly from one world into the next.
