This piece takes me back to the kind of evenings where everything felt slow and the rain on the window made the whole world look softer. I leaned into warm golds and gentle blues to bring out that familiar glow of childhood and the way lights used to blur into something comforting. The little stars, hearts and smiley faces are the marks we all used to make, a small shared language that showed up whenever the windows fogged. Painting this reminded me of how simple those moments were and how they still shape the way I see rain now. I hope anyone who spends time with it feels a bit of that same memory return.
