This piece sits in that space where childhood feels brighter than real life ever could. I pushed the greens and reds into deeper, more saturated tones because that is how those memories live in my mind, full of colour and intensity. The small heart on the glass is a quiet reminder of the simple marks we all used to make, turning rainy windows into something playful without even thinking about it. While I painted it, I felt myself step back into that vivid world where everything seemed louder in colour and softer in meaning. I hope it brings the viewer into that same space, somewhere between memory and feeling.
